On behalf of the local organizing committee, we would like to cordially welcome you to the 16th International Workshop on Resistance to Thyroid Hormone and Thyroid Hormone Action (16th IWRTH) (https://16thiwrth.pt) which will be held on 1-4 September, 2026 at  Ponta Delgada, the Azores, immediately preceding the European Thyroid Association (ETA) meeting in Porto, Portugal. Ponta Delgada is located in São Miguel, the largest island in the Azores archipelago and is the main city of the Azores, an autonomous region of Portugal in the North Atlantic Ocean.
